ELDON BAKER
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eldon Baker, age 80, at the Health Sciences Centre on November 3, 2024, with family by his side.
Eldon will be lovingly remembered by his large family, including his wife of 53 years, Linda; their sons, Rob (Taryn) and Rick (Renae); and their grandchildren, Breklyn, Baron, Levi, and Brooks.
Eldon was born in Edmonton on March 28, 1944, and later moved to Calgary where he met Linda. Linda and Eldon were married on September 4, 1971, and welcomed sons, Robbie and Ricky shortly after. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1984 and grew to love living in the North End. Eldon enjoyed every day spent with his partner in life, Linda. Just prior to his passing, Eldon commented that he felt very fortunate to have such an amazing, good family.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Almaleki and the wonderful staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all of their efforts and care.
A funeral for Eldon Baker will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m., reception to follow. To view the funeral livestream, please visit the Cropo website www.cropo.com.

Our sincerest condolences to Linda and everyone in the family. Eldon was a brilliant light in the lives of many always leaving them better than he found them.
