It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Julien Janssen, age 32, on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Julien is lovingly remembered by parents Joële and John, siblings Melanie, Joey, Nicole, and David, grandmother Gisèle, as well as numerous relatives, friends, and coworkers.
Born on May 24, 1992, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Julien attended school in Oakbank, worked for his father at Janssen Pump Service, then went on to become a train conductor at CN Rail, where his coworkers fondly referred to him as "Jules."
Julien enjoyed movie nights with his mom, travelling with his dad, was a practicing heavy metal connoisseur, animal lover, and fiercely loved his two feline fur babies, Herman and Kitty.
Our family would like to thank everyone who has reached out during this incredibly difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Julien would have liked you to consider adopting a cat. Alternatively, please consider an in memoriam donation to your local animal shelter.
