Gord was my dentist, along with my wife and daughter, for many, many years. He was so easy going all the time. Never heard him say a bad word about any conversation that we had. Later on, after a number of visits, as he sat me in the chair to fix whatever problem I had, I would ask him " What am I paying for now at the lake", and he would tell me, and both of us would laugh, along with his girl "Friday" I appreciated all he did for my family. He was part of the family. Rest in Peace - Posted by: Rick Little (Client) on: Nov 30, 2024

Sincere sympathies goes out to Dr Mcinnes family. He was a wonderful person and had such a good sense of humour he was my dentist for many many yrs. I often wondered what ever happened to both him and Donald after retiring. May he rest in peace - Posted by: Carole patterson (Former patient) on: Nov 23, 2024

I got to know Gordon through my aunt who was his patient. I lost one of my front teeth and didn't know what to do. He made arrangements with the dental school and I received one of the first dental implants done in Manitoba. He was a real asset to his profession and a all around nice guy. - Posted by: Cathie (McLeod) Block (Patient) on: Nov 23, 2024

Sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. McInnes. I was a dental patient of his at the Medical Arts Building back in the late seventies early eighties. I didn't like dentists but he had such a calm and warming demeanor that I didn't mind getting all those fillings and root canals. RIP Dr. McInnes - Posted by: Debbie McLeod (Patient) on: Nov 23, 2024

It was a winter Saturday night 1967, I developed a tooth ache so bad I only found relief banging my forehead on our apartment wall. Gord wasn't my dentist but I knew of him and he was the only dentist whose name I knew with a home phone number in the book. I hoped he might prescribe a mighty pain killer. Instead he insisted on meeting me at his Medical Arts office where through some dental magic with drills, needles, around 10pm, he fixed the tooth. He wouldn't take payment, he objected to my thinking I'd then repay him by his becoming my dentist: "no need, you've a great dentist now," and that was that. A true mission of mercy. I'm sure the family has endless stories of his warmth, kindness and generosity. I'm glad to add mine. He was truly a prince of a human being. - Posted by: Sheldon Bowles (Friend) on: Nov 23, 2024
