SCOTT CHARLES LESLIE
We are sad to announce the passing of Scott Leslie, husband of 30 years to Debbie, and loving father to his children, Ryan and Christine, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Left to remember him are his sisters, Gale (Bert), Lori (Mike) and brother Dave (Angie) along with his nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Scott grew up in Ile des Chênes where he grew a strong passion for hockey. For over 55 years he has enjoyed playing, coaching and watching the game. He’s always said he has found skating easier than walking. He loved summers at the lake and making everyone laugh.
Scott has enjoyed a long career in the automotive industry, as an autobody technician, manager, autobody shop owner and MPI estimator. He had a deep appreciation for cars.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and health care providers that were involved in his journey.
Donations to the Manitoba CancerCare Foundation and Manitoba Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
The celebration of Scott’s life will be November 26, 2024 at 11:30 a.m., Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Ave., Winnipeg.
Scott has asked that everyone wear a Hockey Jersey in his honour.
Please make sure it is washed as per his request.

Scott was a spirited player and reliable teammate and friend. His tenacity and determination was inspiring to all who played on his team. As the saying goes, "We love him as a teammate and dread him as a foe." Rest in peace Scott. - Posted by: Kevin Abrahams (Teammate with Panthers) on: Nov 25, 2024

My condolences to the family. I first met Scott at various paint supplier functions when Scott was at Nickel auto body, and I was at Autohaus VW auto body. Scott was really a nice guy and we both shared the same passions in the trade. I had since joined MPI and later found out Scott had also joined MPI. It was great to reconnect after a few years of doing our own thing. Great guy all around… he will be missed by many…RIP my friend. - Posted by: Dan Smith (Friend) on: Nov 24, 2024
