Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDINAH MAY STEVENS
Dinah was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on August 14, 1963 and passed away suddenly on November 24, 2024 at her home in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, at the age of 61 years.
Dinah leaves to mourn her partner Trent; two sons, Joshua and Tyson; her father Wayne; one brother, David (Lori); her niece and nephew, Madison (Fallon) and Trevor (Katrina); many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Claire.
Dinah was a very outgoing person, never shy to speak her mind, or approach a stranger and strike up a conversation. She played softball growing up, loved to camp and sit around a fire, and was always happy with a fishing rod in her hand. She loved to spoil her boys and was a very loving and caring mother. Dinah loved to be around family and friends. She was always trying to get the family organized to gather for any sort of “special” event. The more people the better!
Dinah was retired and proud of it – focusing her attention to gardening and baking. She loved sitting in her “peek-a-boo” spot looking out at the view as it always made her day. Those on Facebook usually knew her every move, with her random question posts to strike up a conversation. Family and friends in Winnipeg were happy to see her over the last year – what turned out to be her “final tour”.
Dinah is gone too soon and will be greatly missed. She did not want a formal funeral, so the family will be hosting two gatherings to celebrate her life, one in B.C. and another in Winnipeg, at a later date.

Lloyd and my heartfelt and sincerest condolences go out to the rest of the immediate family. Dinah was a character who certainly wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She will be missed immensely, but hopefully we can find comfort that she is now with her family on the other side. - Posted by: Brenda (Cousin) on: Dec 09, 2024

My long time bestie has left this world too soon. Words can’t express the void we all feel right now with having loved Dinah as she loved us. A true blue friend through thick and thin. I will now have to rely on those memories we made over the last 45 years to carry through until we meet again. We used to joke that one day we would be like “The Golden Girls” and which one of us would be Blanche. My love goes out to Dad (Wayne), Trenton, Josh and Tyson, Dave, Lori,Madison and Trevor and all of the family With much love Margaret - Posted by: Margaret Cabel (Friend ) on: Dec 07, 2024
