It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray, at the age of 80.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia and leaves behind his three daughters, Michelle, Renee (Chris), Dawn and son Marc (Kerri); grandchildren, Kirstyn (Drew), Kyle, Haley, Keira; great-grandchildren, Payton, Maverick. Brother Paul (Susan); sister Leona (Greg); many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ray was born and raised in Winnipeg, attended Red River Community College for Architectural Drafting and worked for the Government, through his love of water and teaching he also worked at Centennial Pool where he was Chief Instructor. Throughout his retired years he enjoyed spending his time at Silver Heights Archery range where he made several new friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024.

He was a great person, a dad, a teacher, and the life I needed many years ago. From a rusty nail to a great movie, he always welcomed me and seemed to understand. Truly someone that I have never forgotten and I have always admired. I am so sorry for the family's loss and wish them all the best forward motion as they go through this journey.
