BRIAN JOSEPH BACHYNSKI

June 13, 1965 - December 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Joseph Bachynski on December 24, 2024, at the age of 59.
Brian was a kind, caring and funny man who will be missed by his family and friends. He found great joy in his electrical career, his animals, his hobbies, his many talents, and the outdoors.
A private interment will take place with his immediate family.

Grief is the last act of love we have to give those we loved. Brian, you were so loved. Rest in peace.

Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • Please join us on Saturday, February 1st at 8PM for a Karaoke Celebration of Life for Brian – A True Friend of Boogies Sports Bar It is with heavy hearts but cherished memories that we gather to celebrate the life of Brian, a beloved customer, friend, and family at Boogies Sports Bar. For years, he was a constant presence at the end of the bar, where his infectious laughter, generous spirit, and deep love for life never went unnoticed. Always with a Budweiser, and a shot of Proper 12 in hand and a song in his heart, Brian became more than a regular — he became family. A true lover of music, he could often be found singing along to his favorite tunes, his voice ringing out like a familiar anthem in the air of the bar. Whether it was the roar of his Harley or the echo of a classic rock ballad, Brian embraced every moment with the kind of passion and enthusiasm that made him unforgettable. And let’s not forget his signature shout — “Ya mon!” — that would echo through the bar, bringing a smile to everyone around him. It was a simple word, but it was so much more; it was Brian’s way of making everything feel just a little more lively and a lot more fun. Brian was a man of loyalty — a loyal friend to everyone he met and a steadfast part of our Boogies family. His warmth and kindness made him a friend to all who walked through our doors. His genuine care for others and his ability to make everyone feel like they belonged was the heart of what made him so special. No one left Boogies without a smile on their face after sharing time with Brian. Though he left us unexpectedly on Christmas Eve at the age of 59, his legacy lives on in every laugh, every toast, and every cherished memory we’ve made together. His presence at the bar may be missed, but his spirit — a spirit of camaraderie, music, and joy — will forever resonate in the stories we continue to tell. We raise our shot glasses of Proper 12 in his honor, and as we remember his friendship, we find comfort in knowing that he is riding free, out on his Harley, singing his favorite tunes in the skies above. To Brian — our friend, our brother, and our family. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, and ride on forever. - Posted by: Holly (Friend) on: Jan 14, 2025

  • Brian and I were like brothers as children. Some of my happiest times were at uncle Joe and aunty Ollie's cabin at spruce sands. We started the fort and Brian finished it. We explored all of St. Andrews when they came to our house, Brian helped me settle when I came back to Manitoba after the forces. Brian introduced me to his friends and sold me his old Volkswagen station wagon. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to Tracy. God bless and keep. - Posted by: Mike Pachal (Freind) on: Jan 11, 2025
