With great sadness after a lengthy illness, George passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 78.
Survived by his wife Janice of 51 years, children, Krystal (John), Kristian (Melissa), Kyle, Rebecca and Sebastian, grandchildren, Liam, Avery, Ty, Dakota and Devlin, siblings, Gwen Charney, Evelyn Odell and Audrey Watters, brother-in-law Juergen Heck, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Richard and Pearl Watters, sister Kay Rainka, brother Keith Watters, sisters-in-law Susan Watters and Marlene Heck, and niece Jodi Rainka.
Cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 18 at 12:00 p.m., St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford Street.
