Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I worked with Dave in my formative years in consulting at Kilborn in Winnipeg before it became SNC. Dave was a true gem of a man and engineer. I just recently found out about his passing and wish to reach out to his family with my deepest sympathy. As I write this today, on Father’s Day, I reminisce of his love for his children as evidenced from my occasional visits at their home. Highly intellectual, yet as down to earth as anyone can be he will be deeply missed by all who have had the fortune of knowing him! Peace to you Dave and to your dear family. - Posted by: Ralph Guppy (Co-worker) on: Jun 15, 2025

  • I worked with Dave Crocker for almost 20 years. He was incredibly bright, one of the best mechanical and process engineers I ever met. He made his co-workers better engineers, and raised the bar. Working with great and talented people like Dave Crocker, raises everyones talent level. When people worked with him, they became better off for it. I used to "hang-out" about 1 km underground in the potash mines with him, and we went on many a road trip with him. Clients loved him and respected him - as . I never expected this - he always seemed active and fit. We had some good laughs together.... "Jeff - Train..... Traaaaiiinnnn...." We will all miss you. - Posted by: David B (Co-Worker) on: Jan 30, 2025

  • I worked with Dave for about 10 years. He will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Dik Coates (Co-Worker) on: Jan 28, 2025

  • Dave was a great co-worker and his passing has shocked us all at the office. He will be missed. He was always quick to talk about his garden and all of the vegetables he was growing, and how he was going to preserve them all. One co-worker mention to me that Dave was the smartest man he had ever worked with. Blessing to you all as you grieve his loss. - Posted by: Nicole Stuart (Co-Worker) on: Jan 27, 2025
