Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Jerry and I much enjoyed youthful years as first cousins, particularly at my families' Lake of the Woods island camp, plus family shared Christmas and New Years dinners in the 40's and 50's. Always remember him fondly. My thoughts are with Linda and his loved ones. - Posted by: David Bowman (Cousin) on: Mar 25, 2025

  • I remember hanging out at the Uncle Jerry’s cottage at Lake of the Woods! He took us for a tour of the lake which was beautiful! Then I remember having a road race from Regina, SK to Sparwood, BC. Uncle Jerry found it quite amusing to keep passing me and then waiting only for me to outfox him as I knew of a shortcut 15 mins from our destination! Lol. The look on his face was priceless! Rest easy now! - Posted by: Shannon (Neice) on: Feb 24, 2025

  • I always remembered Gerald as a very generous kind and gentle man. Growing up with his stepson Chris, Gerald and his wife Linda allowed us access to the family cabin down Rush Bay road, access to the boat and their house on weekends when they were out of town. They trusted us during a time when we were Rowdies most of the time Lol! Linda and Gerald were a very happy couple and my meetings with them was always a humbling experience! To you Linda and Geralds family, keep moving on and cherish the memories that you've all created with the wonderful man he was..........Gary Ostrowski - Posted by: Gary Ostrowski (Friend) on: Feb 24, 2025

  • Knew Jerry and his Brother Ross from Windsor School days and low and behold Jerry and Linda moved across the street from us in Niakwa Park and we reacquainted, think Jerry was crusted with retirement and took odd jobs to busy himself. Evelyn use to like her visits with Linda. We were disappointed when they left and moved to Windsor Park. Think Evelyn use to run into Linda at the grocery store. Our Sincere Condolences to Linda and Family, may he RIP. - Posted by: Tom and Evelyn Johnstone (Aqaintances) on: Feb 23, 2025
