It is with heavy hearts that we announce that David Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.

I was married to Dave Thomas for 37 yrs. I knew him when I was 15, dated and got engaged secretly when I was 16 and Dave was 19 yrs of age. We married in 1964 and came to Canada in 1966. We both worked very hard with the goal of returning to England after a 2 year 'Canadian adventure'; guess the adventure never stopped! We began our family in 1968 when Nicola was born; in 1973 our son Ross was born, and Jillian came along in 1975 completing our family. Like many marriages we had good, and some not so good times. After 37 yrs of marriage we separated and divorced in 2001. We had known Donna and her children through Broadway 1st Baptist Church so I was always really grateful that Dave & Donna connected and it was good fit for both of them. I am thankful to God that Dave experienced such contentment and their time together was happy. My sincere condolences to my own family and to Donna & the McCann family. Maureen A.
