Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE PAMELA BARTLEY
Surrounded by her beloved daughters, our cherished mother, Rose Pamela "Pam" Bartley, began her journey to the spirit world on March 5, 2025. A community icon and matriarch, Pam was, in her own words, "born on the bald prairie of Northern Saskatchewan with one foot in a gopher hole," in Leask, SK. It was there she spent her early years until fate intervened with a summer job at West Hawk Lake that would change her life forever.
Pam's bravery shone as she traveled far from home for that summer job. It was there that John Bartley, a conservation officer in West Hawk at the time, saw her walking across the street and declared to his friend, "That's the girl I'm going to marry!" True to his word, they married two years later.
The couple settled in Rennie, MB, where they built a life together. They raised their children and established a family business while contributing tirelessly to their community. Pam was involved with the Rennie Community Club and played a key role in securing funding for its expansion in the 1980s. An avid curler, Pam achieved great success on the ice, leading her team to a Grand Aggregate Championship and proudly displayed her many trophies at home.
Pam and John were inseparable partners in life and work embodying a true love story. After John's passing, Pam moved to Richmond, BC, where she spent her final years surrounded by the love and care of her daughters. She embraced new adventures and friendships during this chapter of her life.
Pam is survived by her daughters Brenda (Jim), Lori (Perry), and Tracey (Glen). Her legacy of love, strength, and community spirit will live on through them and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held privately.

I had just moved to Rennie - to the "forestry compound" with my parents when I met the entire Bartley family, (Tracey a few years later). I was immediately accepted into the restaurant where I met and became friends with Brenda and Lori. Once I was old enough, I spent summers pumping gas (ahhh the "good old days when you were asked if you needed your oil checked and windshield washing was done automatically). I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace. - Posted by: Charlene Hood-Ashton (friend) on: Mar 16, 2025

Bartley girls…we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Mom. We cherish many wonderful memories of Pam and John. Trevor especially remembers the many trips to the wonderful trappers cabin and also the 3 of us going by boat through the tunnels. We cherished their friendship and are grateful to have had them as dear friends. Pam will be grateful to now be with her beloved Johnny.
