JOHN ANDREW MILLER

In the early hours of February 20, 2025, my dearest friend and husband Andy peacefully passed away at the age of 58. Andy was an amazingly positive and unique individual who is deeply loved by his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends. For those who wish to make a memorial donation, please select a charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Andy and I have been childhood friends since we moved into our home 1 house away from him on Nichol Ave. That was in 1970. We attended and walked to school together most days. We played at each other's houses. We went to each other's birthday parties. It was best friendship. I remember one birthday party of his where it was only Andy and I. We played in his basement (with the funky painted walls), played some party games and had hamburgers and cake. I cannot recall how old we were. But the memory stuck with me all these years. I felt special being his friend. I always had a feeling of fun and being accepted by Andy. In a time when I was often bullied for being weird or different (now discovered that I am ASD Neurodivergent), Andy never mistreated me in any way. He could match my silliness and weirdness and always made me (feel accepted and encouraged) laugh. His antics were always over the top! Andy and I grew apart as we grew into young adults. It's been 40 years since we saw each other. When I learned of his passing, I was struck with a deep sense of grief and loss; one that reached way back into my heart and surprised me with the power of its impact. My heart aches for his family and their sadness at this time. I have much love and gratitude for the time that Andy shared with me during my magical and formative years. Be at peace and without suffering, my lovely friend. - Posted by: David Blair (Childhood Friend) on: Mar 19, 2025

  • Deepest condolences to all of Andy’s family relatives and friends We will always have very many happy memories of our times together. Some things that will always stand above was Andy’s love of nature both at his home and our trailer campground. Especially the deer and birds Andy was always bird watching, feeding them and even mimicking their calls. Also his artistry decorating his figurines. And of course his campfires. A true gentleman Rest In Peace - Posted by: Laurie Cindy and Dalayna James (Long time friends) on: Mar 17, 2025
