• To the family, our condolences and shared grief as it happened so sudden, as least from afar in BC. We will miss Rick, you really don't realize how, our real connection to the Batch family. His sense of humour, my memories of him growing up through the years in EK, all the while out in the country from the city. Rick, you have been a friend, confident, qualified plus locksmith who made our company excel in the many years you were part of the team. Your expertise and hard work guided our two biggest projects, the Human Rights Museum and the RBC Convention Centre, to success. Yours and Cheryl's friendship through the retirement years was appreciated and meaningful. Many good memories we will always have and cherish. Rest in Peace friend, you will me missed. • Many years of hanging out at Bronx Park. Junior High and High School. Then lost touch as people do. Then one day at work there is Rick working on a door. We caught up like it had only been days instead of years. Truly one of the good guys. Sorry we lost touch for so long.
