It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sonya Badiuk on March 29, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband John Badiuk of 57 years.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Mary the Protectress, 820 Burrows Avenue, Winnipeg, MB with reception to follow and burial at Glen Lawn Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.

I just found this out today. John, I am so sorry for your loss. The two of you were the perfect match. Such good friends. I was waiting for another surprise visit from the two of you that I mentioned to mom. That's when mom told me about Sonia's passing.
