On April 11, 2025 in Winnipeg, MB. Frances, widow of the late Ronald Davie (1936-1993), mother of Elizabeth, and grandmother of Devin, passed away.
Frances was born in Winnipeg, grew up in St. Vital with one brother Robert, and one sister Sylvia, both now residing in Ontario.
Frances and Ron resided in Thompson, MB. 1970-1978, where Ron was employed with Lambair (30 years). They then moved to St. Vital and spent many happy weekends at their cottage at White Lake.
After Ron’s passing, Frances resumed her music studies at the U of M, acquiring diplomas in ARCT Performance and Teachers, and Licentiate of Music with a mark of 94. Fran was a friendly person who was interested in people. She was part of the Y friends & attended many coffee & lunch sessions after Aquasize exercises. She performed musical piano concerts in her home where she invited her friends to share the experience. Rest in peace my friend. You are missed. - Posted by: Jean McDonald (St vital Y friend) on: May 06, 2025
