JOHN PERCHALUK
It is with sadness we announce the passing of John on February 6 at Poseidon Care Centre.
He will be remembered by his sister Alice; sisters-in-law, Margaret and Mary and numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by parents, Joseph and Anastasia (Nellie) and his brothers, William, Norman and twin Nicholas.
John was born in 1932 and raised in the areas surrounding Sundown, MB. He spent most of his career with Via Rail starting as a steward and ending his career as Service Coordinator. John and his brothers had an annual hunting trip always in search of the four pointer. He was a great snooker and pool player. In his retirement he enjoyed travelling, fishing and could never pass up a garage sale where he accumulated many treasures.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Poseidon Centre for their compassionate care of John.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
