It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of my husband, Kenneth Joseph Ellis. Ken was 86 years old and passed at Riverview Hospital on May 1, 2025, at 5:25 p.m.
Ken was not only my husband but my best friend for almost 40 years of marriage. He was the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Teresa Lynn (Peter) and Judy Kathleen (Michael). With the combination of my son Chris (Kim), we became a new larger family. His former wife, Beverley, is a wonderful mom to her girls. We have been blessed with the love from all our kids and grandkids. Together we share eight grandchildren: Darion, Devin (Allie), Kierra, Mariah and Brenna, Madyson, Cayden and Kendall. Ken was predeceased by his brothers, Bruce, George, Gordie, and Garth and two sisters, Dorothy and Marjie. He is survived by one brother Russell (Ivy) and many nieces and nephews.
Upon retirement from business, we travelled the world, starting with truck camping, graduating to condos in foreign lands and then finally to the wonderful world of cruising. Ken never lost his great interest in hunting the great outdoors and exploring the world. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and knew him for the kind gentleman that he was.
There will be no funeral. His cremated ashes will be interred at Old Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery.

The day we moved into our condo Ken and Sharon were the first couple we met in the parking lot. From that day forward Ken always approached you with his big smile and gentle laugh. Our condolences to Sharon and your family. John and Debbie Kelly. - Posted by: John and Debbie Kelly (Neighbour) on: May 10, 2025
