Age 71, passed away at home on May 17, 2025. Predeceased by parents Austin and Juta Rathke. Survived by sister Karen in Minnesota.
Jim was a skilled tradesman who could find creative solutions to fix or build almost everything. Before his illness he was often found helping friends with projects or working on his old truck. Jim was an animal lover and every animal he met loved him back.
A special thank you to Trevor and Chris Maiden and their family for “adopting” Jim and for all their friendship and support.
