Dr. Sachdeva was always interested in what was happening in my life. On one occasion, she happened to meet up with my husband who had come to pick me up after work. She knew that he was a newly diagnosed diabetic who continued to smoke. She told him in no uncertain terms that in his situation, being a smoking diabetic was equivalent to already having had a heart attack. She was quite appalled that he would keep smoking. Shortly after that discussion with Dr. Sachdeva, my husband quit smoking!!! That was 2002, and he is still smoke-free!! I am forever grateful. - Posted by: Judy Masters (I was a laboratory technologist working at Concordia Hospital in Pathology when Dr. Sachdeva was in ) on: Jul 05, 2025

Prema was a friend and member of the old Southwood golf course, Ladies golfing group, in the years that she lived in Winnipeg. She was missed when she moved to Toronto. But her golfing friends were happy for her at her retirement and a move likely to be closer to family. Prema was a gracious, interesting and accomplished lady. I extend my Condolences to all members of her precious family. Catherine Lee. - Posted by: Catherine Lee (Friend) on: Jul 04, 2025
