My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Mr Schettler. He was always so welcoming to all of our friends. My Dad passed this year as well and we were just so lucky to have such amazing supportive parents that loved & supported all of our friends like we were family. Love & thoughts are with you all. To the Schettler Family, Uncle Ron was a huge influence on my life from the day I was born. He was like a second Father to me and always provided such wise guidance to me. I will miss him dearly but know he’s in a better place with so many loved ones. I kiss the ground for having had such a special Uncle. Darrin - Posted by: Darrin Bean (Nephew) on: Jul 05, 2025

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. So many great memories while we were involved with Morse Place Community Centre watching our boys play soccer, hockey and baseball. Those were the years! Please accept our sincere condolences. Jeannette & boys - Posted by: Jeannette Kasprick (Friend) on: Jul 05, 2025

Sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I remember Ron my big cousin whom we visited at 447 McKenzie. It was the extended home my family visited to see the Schettler’s and Schick’s often on a Saturday night. There was a time the 4 cousins; Gord, Charlie and myself would meet for lunch, and remember stories of earlier times. My condolences to Joan and Ron’s extended family.
