On Friday, June 27, 2025, Jerry Zastawny, aged 75 years, passed away suddenly, at his home of Alberta Beach, AB.
He was predeceased by his younger brother - Nestor Zastawny; his father - Orest Zastawny; his mother - Olga Zastawny; his brother-in-law - James Thompson.
Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife - Margaret; his daughter - Tanya; his son - Clinton; his granddaughter - Bexley; his daughter - Nicole.
Jerry will also be lovingly remembered by his sister - Donna Thompson (nee: Zastawny); his nephew - David Thompson; his niece - Darlene Thompson.
Viewing took place at Parkland Funeral Home in Stony Plain, AB. on July 2, 2025.
Jerry was a very special person. He had this wonderful, amazing sense of humor, was easy going and full of fun and laughter. He enjoyed gardening and working on his acreage building a gazebo, etc. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV, baseball, football, hockey, etc., and he enjoyed his rock ‘n’ roll music. He would dance in the living-room of his home, with his grand-daughter, Bexley to his rock ‘n’ roll music. Jerry lived his life to the fullest.
We, his family will miss Jerry and will lovingly keep him in our hearts forever.

Hi Dad. Even though our time was short I only got to know you. 2 yrs ago when I found you'd again. You opened your arms welcoming as your daughter that meant the world to me now that you are resting just remember there's not a day. That goes by that I don't think about you. Everyday I wish I had more time. With you just to get know you and know about your mom and dad but you are with them now. So give them a big hug from Tanya and tell them I love them Dad. You will be really missed and I will always wonder what it would of been like if you were there. While I was growing up. The past is the past and I wont judge for that .The best part was I got to spend some time with you and will always. Carry you in my.
