ANN MARIE KILLBERY

(SINNOCK)

March 16, 1933 - July 14, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ann Killbery, aged 92 years of Teulon, Manitoba, peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Selkirk Hospital.

Ann grew up in Weston area of Winnipeg. In 1953 she met and married Wayne Killbery and raised four children in St. James. In 1968, they bought a farm in Teulon and raised cattle and created a life they love. They loved the wildlife that came around and were always feeding the birds and deer. Ann worked at Charison’s Turkey Hatchery for 20 years where she formed many cherished friendships. She was a kind and thoughtful woman, beloved by all who knew her.

Her whole world were her children and she was the greatest mum in the world. After she let the farm go, she moved into the Knotty Pines in Teulon., where she enjoyed the care and kindness of her neighbours - especially her time spent outdoors with her dear friend, Hanalor. She then moved in with her daughter Traci and her family, where she found great joy sitting on the deck, watching her great-grandchildren run wild and fill the yard with laughter. Ann had a deep love for flowers and gardening, a passion that brought her joy throughout her life. Her husband Wayne was never far behind, camera in hand, capturing the beauty of her gardens year after year. Even during her time at Knotty Pines, she continued to nurture that love, tending carefully to the small garden just outside her window.

Ann leaves behind a large and loving family who will miss her deeply. She was a cherished Mum, Nanny, sister, auntie, and friend. Her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness lives on through daughter Wendy (Neil) [John, Neil (Kayla), Kara, Kaylin]; daughter in-law Marie, [Meghan Makenna, Dekker, Zaylee, Zennyk] [Garth,(Becky) Kieran, Kellan, Freya]; son Tom (Carol) [Jill (Kevin) Whitney and Storm], [Jaime Easton, Tamsen]; daughter Traci [Andrew, Stevi, Anthony, Sadie, Lochlan], [Cory, Izaac, Jaxon, Levi], [Tess, Owen, Ophelia], [Scott Eros, Desiree and Dominic Griffin, Hudson and Harper Eros]; her sister Eileen, sister-in-law Kathy, sister-in-law Lynn (Russ), sister-in-law Sharon (Bruce), sister-in-law Carol Sinnock and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne, her son Russ, her grandson Wes, her parents, John and Ena Sinnock, her in-laws, Tom and Alice, her sisters, June (Tom), Maisie (Jack), Rose (Bob), her brothers, Jack, George, Ted (Pat), her sister-in-law Gail and brother-in-law Barry.

We are grateful to the staff at the Selkirk Hospital for their compassionate care in her final days.

In keeping with Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A family Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

Mum you gave us so much love and assured us that you will be watching over us from heaven. We are blessed to have had you as our Mum. Family Forever.
