It is with heavy hearts that we announce Marian's passing on July 16, 2025, at the Victoria General Hospital.
Marian will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lisa Ethier (Lionel), her son Tim Watts (Amy) and her cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, Clarelle and Neveah. Also left to mourn her passing are her brother Reg Smith (Shannon), her sister Rita Michasiw (Gerry), and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Marian was predecessed by her father Reg Smith, mother Nellie and stepfather Willy deKoning, her first husband Murray Watts, and her partner Murray Esler.
Marian was employed with the Royal Bank for 25 years taking an early retirement to travel to many parts of the world.
The family would like to thank Drs. Wong, Young, Dodd and Penner for her care. We are so grateful to the nurses of 5 North for their compassionate care of our Mother over the last several months.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 3459 Pembina Highway.
