On July 23, 2025, George passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
His journey came to an end, and he is now in the loving arms of his mother, Louise and father, Gerry. He leaves behind his wife Jeanine, children Shannon, Patrick (Katherine) and Kathleen (Pat). Special chosen children Priscilla and Stephanie. Grandchildren Samantha (Matt), and Christian. And chosen grandchildren Xavier, Nina, Dontae, Laine and Nico.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Connor, Roland (Sheila) and John Paul. He is survived by his dear sister Yvette (Tom) whom he loved dearly and their sons Ron and Craig, sister-in-law Linde and many nieces and nephews.
Thanks to Dr. Kevin Coates and staff for the many years of care they provided for George.
Special thanks to Owen and Denise, for all the 50+ years that he was able to fish at lake Suzanne which was one of his favorite places to be. To Moe and Brian for keeping Mr. Grumpy pants busy on their lot.
And thank you to Dr. Beaudette and staff at Actionmarguerite St. Vital for the excellent care they gave George in his final year.
As per George's wishes, there will be no service. Lake Suzanne will be his final resting place.

We would like to offer our Condolences to Jeanine and all of George's family. George was one of my favorite cousins as he always greeted you with a smile and made you feel so welcome. Loved his wonderful sense of humor and will always cherish the times that we spent together. While driving back home to Calgary, we were already looking forward to our next visit.
