Patricia Anne passed away peacefully after bravely coping with numerous health issues over the past few years, with loved ones at her bedside. With her strong belief in God, and her great love of people, she was never alone.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Beatrix Olive Brown and Axel Kalob Olafson; survived by her brother Arvind Lawrence Olafson “Larry”, and her abundant community of friends. Most notably, Janice, Brenda, Susan and George.
Born and raised in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, her small-town sensibilities guided her approach to life, but she was drawn by the bright lights of the city. Moving to Winnipeg in her late teens, she had the opportunity to share her giftedness as a psychic.
Pat became aware of her psychic abilities early in her childhood and began reading cards at the age of 13. Later owning and operating Pat’s Clairvoyant Cards and Palms, she made many friends who she adopted as her chosen family.
Pat approached life with a sense of humour, cracking jokes, and putting people on the spot. She faced many challenges head on but always found herself comfortable. “Save a penny for every penny earned,” she’d say. But somehow, she always enjoyed buying for others more than herself.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” With a passion for gardening and cooking, she always found a way to nourish others.
We are truly grateful for the outstanding care she received from the homecare team and for the personal care provided at Fred Douglas Lodge.
As per Pat’s request a private burial has taken place at Glen Eden Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life at Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Avenue will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
