Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA (PAT) PELLETIER
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Patricia (Pat) Pelletier, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, has passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025. Born on May 14, 1936, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Pat’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and dedication to family.
Pat is survived by her loving husband Marty Pelletier; sons, Kelly (Paulette) Sullivan and Michael (Joanne) Sullivan; grandchildren, Carmelle (Travis) de Koning, Michelle (Garvin) Pinette, Danielle Sullivan, Myles Sullivan and Daniel (Shalyn Falloon) Sullivan; and great-grandchildren, Ashton, Hunter, Dane, and Hazel - who all affectionately referred to her as “Nanny”. Pat’s memory will live on through her family, whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support.
Also grieving her loss is her brother Jim (Carmen) Dunn, and many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis Gainor and Marjorie Lambert.
Pat spent most of her childhood in the Vancouver area enjoying time well spent with her extended family and appreciating the beauty of the mountains. She eventually started a family of her own and relocated to Winnipeg in the late 1960s, soon after beginning her rewarding career with Kodak. Pat was well respected by her colleagues for her professionalism and dedication to a task at hand. In 1981, she married Marty, her life partner, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Much to Marty’s appreciation, Pat was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting frequent dinners. Her dinner table was always welcoming, and she would personally ensure that no one left hungry. In 1990, Pat and Marty acquired a cottage in the Gimli area which became a focal point for family gatherings, bringing Pat a lot of joy throughout the years.
More so than any of her innumerable positive qualities, she lived all her years dedicated to her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre, and Grace Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Anavets 283 (Army and Navy, 3584 Portage Ave).
Pat’s warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will be missed by all who have been touched by her presence. We are grateful as a family that she is now at peace.

Thanks you to Pat for so many years of kindness and support. I met her when I was a troubled teenager and was having some issues with life. She was kind and caring, supportive and understanding. Often we would talk for hours and hours. My family visited Gimli cottage a few times and met Marty at the track once in a while. Marty always gave us the inside scoops on the races. Pat was an amazing host and she were spontaneous and always welcoming. I moved to Guelph, Ontario and then to Kelowna, BC but we always stayed in touch. You enriched my life Pat and I will always remember you. Deb McManamen - Posted by: Deborah McManamen (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2025

Marty, Kelly, Mike, and family: I am so sorry for your loss. I always admired Aunt Pat and I felt like she was my second mom, especially after my mom passed. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. Her kindness, wisdom, and the way she made me feel part of the family will never be forgotten. I hope you can find comfort in the love and memories you shared, and in knowing how many lives she touched. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family. - Posted by: Dawn (Niece) on: Aug 08, 2025

Marty Mike and Kelly and families..my condolences to you all for your loss. I will always remember Pat as a warm kind person always with a positive kind word for everyone. i will miss our many long telephone conversations we have had over the later years when travelling became more difficult and many visits to Vancouver in the earlier years with Marty. She would always ask how is my baby brother Jim doing and they would talk about the old days and reminisce about old friends. Jim and Jim will miss her dearly. - Posted by: Carmen (Sister in law) on: Aug 02, 2025

Mart, Kelly, Mike I would like to offer my deepest Condolence to you and all of your family. Pat was always a very shinny star to me. Any time that she visited in person or talking on the phone or face time it was very special to me and her. As time goes on I realize that the Dunn women lived through the best times on this earth and were an inspiration to many by being themselves, kind caring and generous to others. I was hopping to come to mana to a again but with Lynda in kidney failure and life the trip will not work but my yhoughts will be with you all and if there was time for a zoom link to view the services from that would be great. Love to all Blake Lynda Carol Josh Amber and 15 grandchildren ❤️💐🌷🌺🌸 - Posted by: Blake Gainor (Nephew) on: Aug 02, 2025
