Very sorry and sad to hear of Lawrence’s passing we grew up on the same street and played baseball, fastball and hockey together from the time we were in little league and minor hockey on up including senior hockey in Minto. He was a gifted athlete and we shared many good times and laughs together throughout the years. After moving to Calgary in 1972 we always reconnected back in Brandon for lunch or a game of golf whenever we returned for visits. Life is not fair in some ways will miss you “Jasper” and see you on the other side some day. Keep your stick on the ice buddy! Corky - Posted by: Corky Down (friend) on: Aug 14, 2025

I grew up with Warner (Lawrence) playing ball then we reconnected when Theresa and Warner started dating. I was transferred out of Brandon and lost contact. He is in my memory and will be missed. My condolences Theresa to you and your family. - Posted by: Doug Brown (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2025

I’m very saddened that my old long-time friend Lawrence has left us far too soon. We were very good buddies for years before I left Brandon in '74. He was such a talented athlete as we grew up together. I marvelled at how easy he made baseball and hockey appear. A kind gentle man describes Lawrence. I wish that I had been able to spend more time with him …. Rest in peace you smooth skating left winger. - Posted by: Neil McLean (Friend) on: Aug 09, 2025

I grew up a few years older than Lawrence and coached him in ball and we continued our friendship for many years until I moved away in 2015. I saw him last at Clear Lake with Chance. Lawrence was a great guy who will be missed. Don Pratt. - Posted by: Donald Pratt (friend) on: Aug 09, 2025
