Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH CAROLE MOHR
Judith Carole Mohr (formerly Todd, nee Eichenberger) passed away on July 25, 2025, at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg, after a brief illness. Judy was born on September 3, 1937, in Winnipeg to Robert and Margaret Eichenberger.
She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Richard Todd in 1978, and by her second husband Louis William Mohr, in 2018. Judy is survived by her son, Andrew Richard Todd, sisters-in law, Jan Mohr and Anne Beresford, stepchildren, William, Jennifer (Lewis), Amy (Patti), Christine (Alan) and grandchildren, Garrett Moss (Megan), Kathryn Moss (Martin), Nicole Mohr (Cameron), and Liam Mohr, and great-grandchildren Hazel and Henrik, and nephew Peter Beresford.
Judy loved life and especially loved making people laugh. She went out of her way to learn people’s names, and to make them smile. Fiercely independent, she supported herself and her son after losing her husband Doug so early, working many jobs including for the Province of Manitoba, Sears, and the Winnipeg Free Press. She found love later in life with Lou and took good care of him until he passed.
In addition to spending time with family and friends, Judy loved and doted on her many dogs, including Babe, Quincy, Dougie, Lucy and Julian. She enjoyed music and baking, was an avid reader, and a lifelong Bombers fan. She also cherished her friendships with April and Fred Huber and Audrey Zamonski.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Holy Family Home, where she has lived since the fall of 2022, for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in her memory to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue or the Winnipeg Humane Society. A private interment will be held at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
You were one of a kind. We will never forget you.
