It is with heavy hearts that his family must announce the sudden passing of Ken McKinney.
A service to honour Ken’s life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Viewing to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Dear Ruth and family. I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Ken. I used to enjoy working with Ken at Cristall Opticians. We both passed out flyers. I have known Ken since 1991. Dear Ruth, Barb and family, we are so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of Ken from our FBC days. I remember him as greeter at the front door, an usher, he sang in the choir and I think he taught Sunday school with my mom too! We enjoyed our visit with Ken & Ruth at our FBC Reunion, years ago at our home. May God comfort you all during this difficult time. We look forward to the next 'Reunion' when we meet together in heaven! Dear Ruth and family, We are very sorrow to learn about Ken’s sudden passing. Dave will certainly miss his annual birthday call- Ken never missed a year! You could certainly depend on Ken to remember dates and statistics which most of us could never recall. He was always interested in family events and ready to celebrate special occasions. He was very fortunate to be supported by such a caring family. You are in our thoughts and prayers during such a painful time.
