With deep sadness, we share the passing of Susan (Sue) Mary Ennis on August 5, 2025.
Born in Sherbrooke on August 16, 1947, and raised in Drummondville, Quebec, Sue met her beloved spouse Frances, with whom she recently celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Sue worked in office management and administration, always known for her care, precision, and warmth. At home, she was a gifted cook, especially known for her apple and pumpkin pies, and loved sharing meals with family. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, travelling and time with her grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by Frances; children, Sean (Meaghen) and Jennifer (Brad); grandchildren, Kelsey, Katie, Brody, Aubrey; and extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, siblings, and granddaughter Kayleigh, Sue leaves behind a legacy of love, humour, and a heart devoted to her family.
There will be a Celebration of Life planned for a later date.

Frances and family, we wanted to let you know how saddened we were to hear of Sue’s passing. Over the many years she worked for us, we appreciated her ability to keep our schedules on track and the compassion she showed to our clients. We remember her daily efforts to expand her vocabulary by practicing new words. She was always up-to-date on politics and open to a spirited debate about them. She made an excellent cup of coffee, an accomplishment to which our clients would attest! After her retirement, we enjoyed catching up on the news about you all, and, of course, her grandchildren, at our annual staff Christmas parties. She will be missed. I am very sorry to hear about Sue's passing. My deepest condolences to her family.
