It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dad and grandpa, Norman Jurkow, on August 6, 2025, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg.

It is with great sadness that I learned a few days ago, in a Christmas card from Berenice, the passing of our dear friend Norm. So many good memories came back in my mind of these many years in Charleswood on Betsworth: our gourmet club every season, sharing parties in our back yards, sharing jokes of all kinds, Joyce looking after Eric my son sometimes, our French class in the basement, our garage sales, my husband playing Santa for the children on Dec. 24th etc ... It was very difficult to leave '' Friendly Manitoba '' for Ottawa. It took me years to adapt. Fortunately we had a wonderful visit with Joyce, Norm and Gillian here in Gatineau a few years ago. Gillian had to design a garden at Rideau Hall. My deepest condolences to Gillian and Michael and family.
