KEN AND LYNN CRAIG

For 51 years, Ken and Lynn Craig lived one love story. It began when a farm girl with fiery red hair left Ontario for a visit to Vancouver, and met a tall Saskatchewan farm boy in his first RCMP posting. From that moment on, Ken's favorite place was beside Lynn, and Lynn's greatest adventure was life with Ken.

Together they built a marriage of laughter, courage, and devotion that carried them across Canada - from B.C. to the Yukon to the Northwest Territories to Manitoba - and around the world. They raised their daughter, Stephanie, as a trio bound by kindness, strength, and fierce independence. They created a home that was always open, always full of friends who became family, and often full of laughter, card playing and kitchen dance parties.

Ken and Lynn were partners in the truest sense: in love, in service, in community, and in family. They walked side by side through every joy and every hardship - Ken at Lynn's side through her battle with ALS, and Lynn forever his anchor even when he was wounded in the line of duty. Those who knew them saw not just two remarkable individuals, but a bond that made each of them stronger, and that made the world around them warmer, better, and braver.

They were the best of parents, the most devoted of partners, and the greatest of friends to each other and all who knew them. Though they are gone, their story remains: a love for the ages, still shining as the greatest gift they gave us all.

It seems like just yesterday you left us. We miss you every day.

Love Stephanie, Todd, Jenna, Zac, Louise, Madison and Nick.
