Pierrette Bowman, beloved mom, nanny, great-nanny, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 69, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Born in Saint-Benoît de La Corne, Abitibi, QC, on August 27, 1956, to Rollande and Roger Châteauneuf, Pierrette was known for her warmth, kindness, determination, strong work ethic and her unwavering love for her family.
Pierrette was a devoted mom to Danny and Sabrina. Among other talents, she was a great cook and gathering her family together for meals brought her joy and comfort. In the days preceding her death, Pierrette’s wit surfaced, and it brought laughter and joy to those who were present to accompany her through her final days.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children: Danny (Tammie Châteauneuf) and Sabrina (Richard Perron); her grandchildren: Taylor, Alex, Sidney, Cole, Victoria, Kylie; her great-grandchildren: Talia, Charli and Rory; and her siblings: Renée, Madeleine, Michelle, Lucienne, Lauriane, Jasmine, Jocelyne, Danielle, and Roger.
Pierrette’s family members and their spouses/partners, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews will forever cherish her memory.
