RUDY JANZEN
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rudy Janzen on August 27, 2025.
Rudy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Aila; daughter Kathy (Ron), grandson Matthew (Lisa) and great-grandchildren Alexander and Benjamin, and grandson Eric (Ashley); son Timo (Kim), grandchildren Kirsi and Colyn (Destiny), and great-grandson Brookes; daughter Anita (Ian), grandson Aaron (Courtney) and great-grandson Jacoby; twin brother Wally (Agnes), sister-in-law Judy, sister-in-law Lorrie (Jim), sister-in-law Aliisa (Jeff) and brother-in-law Allan (Bunny), sister-in-law Marvelle (Barrie), sister-in-law Ina (Ray) and numerous other family members.
Rudy is predeceased by his wife Marjorie, father Jake, mother Sadie; and his brothers, Harry (Leigh), Henry and Robert (Bobby); mother and father-in-law Siiri and Reino; mother and father-in-law Irene and Reg, and sister-in-law Laverne (John).
Rudy was born in Winnipeg and raised on a farm in Dufrost before they moved to Winnipeg. He worked at Reimer Express for many years as foreman in the tractor and trailer shop. After retirement there was more time for golf and going to Mesa for the winters where many wonderful friendships were developed.
Rudy loved to visit with friends and family alike and will be sorely missed by all.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday September 8, 2025, Friends Funeral Service, at 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment St. Vital Cemetery.
