Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • O Henry & Sweet Marie is how you introduced yourselves to Rod & me when we met on that cruise so many years ago. We got together a number of times after that & always had such a wonderful time. - Posted by: Christine Ward (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • Henry personified vitality, humor, family devotion. Many, many people will mourn his loss. Diane Keating - Posted by: Diana Keating (friend) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • Sad to hear of Henry’s passing. What a wonderful person….neighbour, teacher, friend and all with kindness and good humour. I still think of Henry and Marie when I sing, thank you for all your musical guidance. He’s singing with the angels now, may he rest in eternal peace. Sympathies to all, sincerely, Elizabeth Nicolson - Posted by: Elizabeth Nicolson (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • It is a sad time indeed but also one to reflect back on the great memories I have with time spent with my 'revered' uncle Henri. Whether it was Pink Panther shenanigans or listening to Jets 1.0 on the radio or horsing--literally--around at the Station. He made a considerable impact on my life in many ways and I am thankful for it. He will be remembered well. - Posted by: Andrew Enns (Nephew) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • Was a wonderful teacher, with his help I passed with flying colours and passed with very good marks. So sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Joan (Student) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • Sorry of hear of his passing. Mr. Enns was my teacher in school- he was the best teacher I ever had and remembered him fondly to this day, and in two weeks I’ll be 77 years old - he left a lasting impression with me. - Posted by: Clare Eliuk (Student) on: Sep 13, 2025

  • Henry came to Sargent Park School to be our new principal - what a fantastic leader, mentor, role model, gentleman, entertainer, friend, educator, human being - a class act for sure. He was well -loved, appreciated, admired - leaving big shoes to fill after his retirement. He always returned for fellow staff retirements to say hello which everyone was grateful for his visits. Sad to say good bye but grateful he had been an influencer in my teaching and personal life. - Posted by: Rowena Nash (Teacher at Sargent Park School) on: Sep 13, 2025
