MICHAEL ADRIAN BRUNEAU

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Adrian Bruneau on August 13, 2025. He was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba to the late Cathy and Peter Bruneau.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lois, and their two sons, Robin (Stacey) and Darcy (Mike). He is also survived by his three sisters, Cathy (Wayne), Terry (Guy), and Norah, sister-in-law Sharon (Russ). He was predeceased by his brother David and infant brother Peter, his in-laws, Ethel and Murray MacLeod.

Throughout his career, Michael built a diverse and accomplished professional life. He began his journey in real estate in 1977 and later obtained his broker's license, opening Adrien Stevens Realty. He was a member of the MREA for 48 years.

He embarked on his next adventure in 1992 by purchasing his first hotel, which led to the opening of Corporate Hotels, owning and operating over 14 hotels in Manitoba and Ontario.

In his later years, Michael's greatest passion was his work at Aurora Recovery Centre, where he dedicated himself to making a positive impact. His commitment to his company and the people it served was unwavering, and he will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Michael to be held at the Qualico Family Centre on October 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
