It is with great sadness that we announce Neil Johannson’s sudden passing on September 3, 2025.
Neil will be deeply missed by his best friend and wife, Denise. He was a devoted father to his children, Karen (David), Eric (Hannah), Vince, and Rob, and thrilled in being Afi to his grandchildren, Thor, Lucy, Liam, and Callie.
A celebration of Neil’s life will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba.

So sad to hear. Sharon & I offer our Condolences to Denise & the rest of Neil's family. Neil was affectionally known (high school days) as "Peeler" and "Iron Stomach". He was the smartest one in the class & went on to become an excellent lawyer. I think back to the 80's & 90's when our careers caused several meetings at the Law Courts (lunch/get togethers/reunions etc.) He will be missed by many.
