LINDA ANN AMES

(née HALLSON)

July 24, 1944 - September 11, 2025


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Ames, Wife, Mother, Amma, Sister, Aunt and Friend at the age of 81.

Linda passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at Victoria General Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was predeceased by her Mother and Father Anna Belle and Hallur Hallson and her sister Phyllis Boushy all of Calgary Alberta.

She leaves to mourn her husband of 56 years Robert, daughter Susan (Bruce), son Michael (Keira), Grandchildren Anya, Linnéa, Shane, Kristjan, and sister Patricia Thompson.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital 5th floor south for their care and kindness during Linda's final days.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Funeral will take place on Tuesday September 23, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
