So sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I will always have fond memories of Bill. I met Bill when I was about 15 at a time when I was needing some new friends in my life and his outgoing nature was just what I needed. The common thread was curling, as Bill would lead me to other good friends Rob and Jeff, and he would be our skip. We would have other good times during those wonder years. Our paths diverged, but I when I would see him on occasion it was a pleasure. Bill was intelligent, considerate, and kind. And I will always be grateful for the difference and the mark he left on my life. Rest easy Bill... - Posted by: Jim Head (Old Friend) on: Sep 20, 2025

To Bill's loving family, How saddened we were to learn of Bill's passing into today's Winnipeg Free Press. Went to the Vancouver Sun and viewed the obituary and photo's -- such beautiful memories. Bill was such nice guy and so much fun. May you all take comfort in knowing he has met the face of God. Take care. - Posted by: Darlene, Sharon and Linda Polanski (school friends) on: Sep 20, 2025
