We are sad to announce the passing of Beth Hiscox. She was born in Winnipeg, the daughter of Dr. John McEachern and his wife Jean (Van Stone). She was predeceased by her husband Robert Hiscox, and latterly by husband John Baker. Also, by her sons, John and Christopher and her sister Jean.
She is survived by her daughters, Jill and Robin. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Lee (Michelle); Colin and Maddie; Andrew (Courtney) Oz and Bentley; Sarah (Nick) Myra, Johnny, Penny and Rylee.
Beth grew up in Winnipeg then studied Art in Toronto. She moved to Flin Flon to raise a family. She taught school for a few years. In 1978 she returned to Winnipeg to take her Honours degree in Fine Arts. Beth was a professional artist and considered it her work. She has had many Gallery Shows and has work in many corporate collections.
Beth loved a good laugh, sketching, crossword puzzles, puns, and animal’s especially her dogs. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her smile could lighten your day.
Thanks to the staff of Misericordia Place MP3 who have cared for Mom for the last five years, with love and excellent care.

A memorial service for Beth will be held at St. Peters Anglican Church on September 26, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
