Our sincerest condolences to the Baleja family. We have had the privilege of knowing Stan through his daughter, Sue. Stan the Man was a quiet man, but he filled the room with his presence. His strength of character and love for his family was always evident in his smile and in his eyes. One of our fondest memories was in 2018, in Killarney where he came to cheer for Sue and team in a curling event. He was there for the games and did not miss a minute of the fun between and after the games. Stan and Christa danced and giggled till the wee hours of the morning with us at end of the event. He did not want to miss any of the fun. Stan faced many health challenges over the years; yet his humility, courage and quiet strength never wavered. It was an honour to know Stan. We look forward to hearing more inspiring stories about him from Sue and Joel and family in the future. Natalie and Dave 💜 - Posted by: Natalie Claude and Dave Harrison (Friend) on: Sep 21, 2025

I’ve know Stan over 35 years. Quite a few of those years we’ve either meet at parties, family gatherings or at the hair salon. He was always a sharp dresser probably due to Chris’s fashion sense. We would chat for 45 mins. while I did his hair, well maybe me mostly chatting but he always had a story about lake life or talking about family or his workout routine. His laugh was quiet but honest, which made me smile. I haven’t done Stan’s hair in a while since Sue took over so our chats have been missed. I’m sure wherever you are you’ll still be the best dressed!! - Posted by: Karen McCarthy (Friend) on: Sep 21, 2025

Dear Chris and family I was so sorry to hear that Stan had passed away. We had so many good times together snowmobiling and partying. Stan and Larry grooming the snowmobile trails together at Lee River. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love, leaves memories no one can steal and may all your wonderful memories you shared together in happy times somehow sustain you at this time of sorrow Love and hugs Marlyn ❤️❤️ - Posted by: Marlyn Harding (Friend) on: Sep 20, 2025
