KATHERINE MOIRA CROSSLAND
Mum, “Nana” passed away peacefully at Golden Links Lodge at the age of 101, having led a full and amazing life.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Lynda (Gordon); grandsons Kevin (Jo), Colin (Chrissy), and Trevor (Yuliya); and great-grandchildren Moira, Theo, Grayden and Danny; Yuliya’s son Gleb; by her brother Ed Cooper (Katie).
She will be lovingly remembered by Gordon’s children Catharine (Matt), Douglas (Helene) and Bryan (Natalie) and their children Henry, Charlie, Violet and Hannah. And also, by her family in England as well as many other family and friends.
Mum was predeceased by her husband Tom, her parents Basil and Katherine Cooper, sister Patricia and step-mother Vi Cooper.
Having lived a long and very full life, in her later years, Mum most loved and cherished being “Nana” to all and delighted in being involved in all family times.
Our family thanks Golden Links Lodge for their care and support during Mum’s stay there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 830 North Drive, Winnipeg.
