Adele Fillion passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB.
Left to mourn are her loving sons Olivier (Sharon) and Leo (Brenda). Grandchildren Betina, Stacey, Nicci and Kelly. Great-grandchildren Nicholas, Hanna, Payton, Easton and Wyatt.
She is also survived by her sister Jeanne Charriere and brother Tony Vincent and sisters-in-law Hughette Fillion and Lorraine Vincent. She will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Adele was predeceased by her loving husband Elie Fillion in 2023, father Domina in 1979 and mother Yvonne Vinet in 1990, great-grandson Kalix in 2020, five sisters Germaine Dupont, Rose-Ella Chevrefils, Merisa Vincent, Raymonde Bourget, Marie-Ange Lacroix and three brothers, Louis Vincent, Therence Vincent and Leo Vincent and many other family members and friends along the way.
She was born and raised in Ste. Georges, MB and later moved to Ste. Anne. She married Elie Fillion in 1954, and they raised their two sons on the Fillion homestead until 2014 when they moved to the Villa Youville.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
The family would like to graciously thank the Villa Youville and staff for the generous care given to Adele in her final months, also the hospital, neighbors and family and friends who helped during this time.
