PATRICIA LEE FORD

December 26, 1960 – September 16, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patty Ford at the age of 64 years, with family by her side.

Patty, who was the most caring, compassionate person I’ve ever known, rarely complained about her own health problems.

Patty loved going to watch her Wheat Kings games with her dad, and Saturday shopping with her mom. She also enjoyed her bowling and camping with others in her “home” family.

Patty loved her Westman Opportunities “home” staff and residents where she lived for the last 13 years. Hugs were abundant and maybe an occasional spray with her water bottle, if she could catch you.

Her work day at COR Enterprises for over 40 years was something she hated to miss, even when sick. She loved her Mondays working in the kitchen especially if it was peanut butter cookie day. Being a designated “helper” for the week brought great joy knowing she was going to be helping those in need.

Rug hooking was a daily routine and again, hugs were abundant all day.

Patty looked forward to her weekly outings with her sister Debby and Mom Lynore, with a stop at McDonalds for her cheeseburger.

She rarely missed her daily phone calls to us both. She loved our holidays together.

Patty will be missed by her mom Lynore Ford, sisters Debby Slack (Bob), and Cheryl Stephen (Brian Oleksyn), as well as her niece, nephews, and great-niece’s and nephew.

She was predeceased by her dad, Russell Ford.
