Tony was my closest friend in Winnipeg sharing both British and Military back grounds. As a retiring Bandmaster of the Royal Green Jackets I met Tony who had connections with the Winnipeg Rifles, Westwood and North-winds community Bands in 2000. Tony was involved also with the German Band and was later very busy playing trumpet for all the groups. He had the ability to organize any challenge before him- I could never say no when Tony asked you to do something. He was respected by all. Tony had a vision for the future and saw all of his projects succeed . After moving to Calgary I kept in touch with Tony, who kept me up to date with all the latest stories from Winnipeg. Tony will be missed by all that met him. Thank you for being part of my life. Michael Scholfield. - Posted by: Michael SCHOLFIELD (Close friend) on: Oct 15, 2025
