We were so sorry to hear of Steves passing. I have been thinking of him lately, and wondering if he had found any peace since losing his beloved Betty. We used to have so much fun together . Our families were so connected through the children. We used to have so much fun playing cards on Saturday evenings, going to the pub and of course the baseball games. What a ritual that was. Going to Minneapolis to see Reggie Jackson. Going on picnics, We took Betty and Steve to see Charlie Pride and Betty got his autograph. The birthday parties. We had so many wonderful times together. They were like family to us. Having Christmas dinner together. Going shopping. What wonderful memories. I miss those times. He was just such a nice guy. He loved his family. He would have done anything for Steven and Susan. We will miss him. - Posted by: marianne humphreys (friend) on: Oct 26, 2025

I am so sorry and sad to hear of this. I have been thinking about and wondering how Steve had been doing. He loved two women in his life, his mother and then his wife Betty. I know he had such a hard time dealing with their deaths. We were such good friends. going to the pub, going to the boys ball games, going on picnics, to Minneapolis to see a ball game, The many Saturday nights, playing cards with the four of us and Steves mom. The time we spent Christmas dinner together at our house. The kids were so happy. Steven and Mickey were best friends. I didn't have a phone number to call him and I am so sorry I didn't try harder to find how to get a hold of him. He was a good friend, his wife was my forever friend, and he just loved his family so much. He was just such a nice guy. I will miss him like I miss his beloved Betty. - Posted by: marianne humphreys (friend) on: Oct 26, 2025
