In Loving Memory of
Lillian Halberg passed away on October 15, 2025, in Kelowna, BC. Lillian was born on December 21, 1923, in Carlton, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Joseph and Angeline (Meiers) Samlet.
As a young woman she moved to Winnipeg, where she met and married Cecil Halberg. Lillian was employed with the Shell Oil Company, and after retirement moved to Kelowna, BC. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Cecil; brothers Keith Delmar, and Wilfred, Fred, and Joey Samlet; and her sister Pauline. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends in Winnipeg and Kelowna. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
There will not be a visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
