TAYEBEH (TIBI) FARJAH ZADEH
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, auntie and dear friend, Tibi Farjah, on October 25, 2025. Tibi passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre after a brave battle with cancer.
Tibi is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband of 50 years, Reza; her children, Shadi, Ali and Shiva (son-in-law Corey); her grandchildren, Harper and Kinsley; and her siblings, Mohammad (nieces Tosca, Shabnam), Fariba (nephew Aidin, niece Golsana) and Javad (niece Sheima). She was predeceased by her parents, Gholamhossein Farjah and Tahereh Sobhani. Her family was her world and she was the heart of ours.
Tibi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1952. She completed her post-secondary education at West Liberty University, earning a degree in Business Administration. It was there that she met Reza, who would become her beloved husband. After marrying, they moved to Canada in 1988, where they built a beautiful life together and raised their family.
Tibi lived a life filled with love, kindness and joy. She had an incredible gift for making everyone around her feel cared for - whether through her generosity, her delicious cooking, or her thoughtful words. She was the kind of person who would do anything for her family and friends, always going above and beyond to make them feel loved and cherished. Those who knew her will remember her strength, selflessness and unwavering dedication to the people she loved.
A celebration of Tibi’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, the Victoria Hospital Foundation, or the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, whose compassionate and kind staff Tibi spoke so highly of.
Her love for her family was boundless and her memory will live on in each of us.

Dear Reza and Shiva Owen and I have had heavy hearts since learning of Tibi’s illness. Our condolences go out to you and your family. We can attest to Tibi’s ability to show love and care to people in her life. When we moved to Winnipeg it was Tibi who arranged for Shiva to offer friendship to our daughter Heather.
