It is with deep love and gratitude for a life well lived that the family of Edward Sarna announces his peaceful passing at Grace Hospital on October 22, 2025, at the age of 96.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St, Winnipeg, MB, on Monday November 3, 2025, at 12:00 noon with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity or organization meaningful to him.
A complete obituary will appear in Saturday’s edition.

My condolences to Ed's family. My husband Ron and I were neighbours and friends when we both lived in an apartment on Elizabeth Road, and Ed was going to University, a lifetime ago. Margaret and I were good friends, both with small children to care for, having coffee together and sharing ideas. The last time I saw Ed was at Ron's funeral in January 2019. He was a good man.
